Hi all can anyone help, are there any schematic diagrams of the inside of a eurovox going about. i am hoping to locate the reset switch or if someone knows of a common problem i have no power up at all. power is going into box ok and have checked all ribbon cables

Can u upload firmware even when there is no power on the eurovox ?

Yeah i thought So , I think there is something wrong with my mainboard , Iv decided to put the main board in my freezer and keep it there over nite , Iv heard a old skool saying that it can bring life back in the gadget , Wat do u guys/girls think ? !

hmmm bad idea m8. that was an ancient remedy for resetting the code on old type car stereos as the code memory was stored on crystals. i think you may feck it up more than it alread is. how long have you had it m8 ?

Put it in a few minutes ago , its f***ed any way's , This was last resort , I remeber my mates used to do this with Graphic cards and motherboards , If it works ill report back here and am sure it will help loads off folks ! Wish me luck !

TAKE IT OUT THE FREEZER ,,i think its been in there long enough

Is your problem sorted yet putting it in the freezer is a bad mistake as it can expand the c11 cap which is dodgy without doing that..?

Putting it in the freezer wont do it any good, it will cause moisture on the board and cause it to short when you try and turn it back on. Check the "C14" capacitor for any signs of bulging or dome shaped head. It should be flat, if not that's your problem
