hiya, i am just after a bit of info regarding chipped boxs,
my freind went to a car boot in north west and bought 2 moded boxs one was a pace box a 1000, i think he said and also a silver samsung box, the thing is when he put the samsung on and went to filmflex as the bloke who sold them also gave him a pin num, which he put in on film flex screen and he was given a list of latest films to order and programes of the week, anyway he orderd the de vinci code and after that he ordered ice age 2 he tried same thing with pace box with pin he got for it and he cant get them on that box so could some one let me no if this is usuall with samsung boxs or has box not been done right as im thinking he will get into trouble ordering films day after day but he will not listen to me, as my box has never had films on it. and if orded any it says cant carry this out phone this num etc, i thought it wouldnt do it the talk back thing is supposed to be cut please help im baffled cheers all who read and answer |

if its a chiped box, then you can't view filmflex, they might be a way to get filmflex. But then you will have ntl knocking on your door as filmflex talks backs because it is interactive.

thanks mate thats also what i thought and have told him this so box is talking back to ntl, yes its chipped and other box wont do it either

dazler123, someone might have sold your mate a subscibed box, which could be a stolen box, you have to be careful on what you buy at car boot.

could you please define 'subscribed box' or 'subbed box' more? After googling for 2 days, piles of people suggest not to touch a subscribed box, and I cannot really distinguish between the subscribed box and the chipped box. After paying the "market" a visit, most of pace and Sammy boxes have a logo of N*L on the front panel. Does a subscribed box mean the box which has the logo of N*L on top? Subscribed box is when you are paying ntl for the channels that you want to watch, e.g if you want sports channels, you would need to subscribe to get those channels and pay monthly, thats if its a legit box.
If its a chipped box then your not subscribing. |
