hey guys so i'm in the new place now and my subbed modem just won't work!! The ready light just keeps flashing!! I've tried different cables and still get the same result. Have tried my tv box on all the sockets and tv works fine. Could it just be that my modem belongs in a le2 area that it won't work in an le5 area? Remember this is not a cloned modem.

Hi, Yh Modem's From the LE1, 2 & 3 Are all different to LE4 & Others. It Would Be Best if you Just Called Virgin up to Help you They will Send you a New One.

whilst waiting for a reply, it occured to me that when you a cloning a mac you need to get a mac say from an le2 area to use in a le5 area. If you did use an le5 area mac then you wouldn't be able to get online because that mac is already on the network. So based on the cloning theory it should make no difference where i go in the leicester area with my modem as it is a paid sub. I can't exactly call vm up and say listen i'm away from my home for 6 weeks and i'm taking my modem to use at another address whilst i'm there.......
