you have posted this in a eurovox section so I assume the HD box which you have is the ex 7000HD

Now this box is not capable of dcrypting the 1841 stream and defo not capable of doing c/s either.

So as you have stated that you are in a N3 area and you also mention that you are receiving all channels inc HD then I find that hard to believe, because:

1) if you have in a N3 area and your stream has definetly changed to 1841 then no matter how many times you power scan that STB... There is no chance in hell that it would all of a sudden dcrypt the channels.

2) you cant be a n3 area if you have all channels. Which then in return means that you are still on a dual stream (1800/1841) it then means that as long as that 1800 stream is still alive your box will work @ all times.

3) if power scan was the solution to solving all N3 issues I think there would no need for C/S on cable in the first place.

seems like I mis understood your orignal post in regards to the channels which you are receiving @ the moment.

So it looks like they are running the 1800 stream on HD channel @ present due to there official customers having issues. Sound like there official customers have not received there cards or they have messed up somewhere else along the line.

I just did a Deep Scan on the basis of this thread. I thought 'I've nothing to lose' and guess what...

I just gained 2 Adult channels.

And I'm not even using a HD box, it's a Max V.

I'm in Hampshire if anyone wants to try it

Thanks for the heads up kryptonic. Just done a power scan and I'm also getting the HD channels. I wonder how long it will last...

Bet Sly are loving V M at the mo, giving their HD channels away for free!

I can confirm that the Sky HD channels in the Nottingham franchise area are currently using N1 (1800) - I wonder if uncle Rupe knows that Branson is giving his HD channels away
