Default CI+ slot

Just got a tv which has a CI+ slot, i've been trying to do some reading but getting a bit muddled. What can you fit in there?
I understand what its for just getting mixed up with CI and CI+

You need a CAM (Google it) and a subscribed card, it enables you to get extra channels on freeview like EPSN and GOLD. In no way, shape or form can these cards be hacked so you have to pay i'm afraid. Also note that the cards for the channels are seperate, e.g. you need to subscribe to ESPN and pay a fee to get the card from them I believe.

CI stands for CAM Interface hence why I said you need a CAM to put the card in. Have a look on Google for more information.

Yes mate like said earlier, I know what a cam is I have googled before I did my OP. I'm getting confused between CI & CI plus, some cams won't work in both if my understanding is right, I was trying to find out what cam would work.
