help i bought a secondhand dm500-c from england im in n.ireland and it wont give me any programmes it picks them up but some1 told me it might need a different image or code

if you see the free to air chnls you need the magic files installing

I bought a 2nd hand 800c from another area but when I connect it to a live VM feed it picks up no channels. Do I need to change something?
