hi all, just had a aerial man round and he seems to think there are new boxes out where you have to connect to your broadband, anyone know about these & know what they are called so i can do my reseach before i buy 1? cheeers

yes they are called starviews and kryptviews, not heard of a eurovox that does this yet.

and do these work in same sense as a eurovox? do they actually work ? not blocked by n3? cheers mate

these boxes have been out and working for about 4 months now. The difference with the box to a eurovox is that it has a LAN port and you have to connect the box to your internet at all times. The box bypasses n3 as it is cs.

connect the box to your cable connection and connect it to the internet. There is 3 boxes kyptview a780, starview 6 and starview combo. Personally the kryptview a780 is the most reliable but the starview server has got better recently
