Question Flashing Haxorware

Hi

I have an Ambit 255, i followed laymans guide to flashing and i can't flash Haxorware Rev 39. When i select the Haxorware firmware when flashing it says TFTP time out a few times and then nothing. Then when i next boot its back to the original firmware. Tried some older ones too and it wont do. Anyone know why?

Is there any other firmware i can flash aswell?

Did you set your NIC to Static IP? The IP settings should be as follows:
Quote:
IP Address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (this should fill itself in when you click it)
Default Gateway: 192.168.100.1
Once you have these settings, proceed with the Layman's guide again and it should work for you.

Are you using Solarwinds or TFTPD32? I recommend TFTPD32 as I find it easier to use, you may not but that's just my opinion. Also, I find it easier to rename the Haxorware file to haxorware.bin so you can easily find it and type the file name in the console.

I was using TFTPD but it wouldn't work so i then tried Solarwinds and Hyper terminal and it did the trick, but i ended up bricking it i think. The only lights that are on now are power and enet is there any way i can un brick it.
