is it possible to use Dbox2 as freeview box and get all free channels

Yes, just scan as your normally would and the freeview channels will be there.

and as v*m encrypt most of these dave etc the dbox will not clear all these channels once your n3.

if your not an n3 area yet just switch off your cam and you'll see what channels still work, itv 2, 3 or 4 won't clear for me but the +1's do

dave, sky 1, 2, 3 and most of the others won't clear.

there's a difference between freeview and free-to-air

Have you not heard the latest steviieee? Most chipped boxes no longer work and some people don't wish to fork out for a sub hence why they want freeview/FTA.
