i have the edg-nemesis 4.4 installed on my 9100s, but this image does not have the 9.0E sat on it, i do have a custom made satellites.xml file, but where do i put it ?
with the cable dbox i just used to swap the cables.xml file, but this is a bit different |

From memory the file needs to be FTP to the box into the folder with your current satellites.xml file in it. Can't remember which folder it is, but with a bit of checking it can be found quite easily, I'll check later and see. If you have backed your channels up etc using something like Dreambox edit you won't have any problems if your new file has a problem.

Not sure if yours is the same but the file is in
/share/tuxbox

yup, thats the one, but now i have a new problem, 550 error. access denied. i have tried to chmod to 755 and 777, i have done this to the entire share folder and tuxbox folder but still same problem.
I can even manually copy and paste to edit the original xml file. I think the only way to do it is the way i once did on a cable Dbox many years ago, basically, i had a program that would open the image up and allow you to edit the contents, and them recompile it to .img format, this worked for neutrino images, but not too sure about enigma based images. |
