I think that model is also 3G wireless router so I doubt if they are giving that away.

its a cg3200 or 3300 depending on its capabilities. i would presume 3300 as NTL:TW wouldnt start buying modems that only run one one or two of the legacy networks.

although the VM site one is a totally different router it seems and doesnt mention about the usage on the 50mbit tier so i would assume the one pictured is total rubbish or that its a doc2.0 modem. and in fairness they wont give you doc 3.0 modems if you only sub to the lower speeds. no point in the cost for them. considering that 3.0 is basically 2.0 with channel bonding. 1.1/2.0 modems can access all the frequencies that 3.0 runs anyway with configuration.

well mine is
Netgear N Cable gateway VMDG280 The mac starts with 30 : the serial number is not the same as the mac tho which i find very confusing... also it says doc2.0 when i look on the settings page tbh you are limted in what you can change on the settings page once connected to it.

Although we're not on the VM network any more, it would be nice to be able to modify this router with dd-wrt!
