Is It Better To Delete All Channels Before Flashing New Software Or Can I Just Flash New Software Without Deleting Anything, I'm Currently Using Oct Software! I Cant Be Asked Arranging All The Channels Again!

You dont need to erase channels,just flash it and if any channels are missing after flash do an autoscan, this will bring them back without losing your favourites

Sorted it worked fine just like you said and all the channels were there i didn't have to do autoscan! thanks mate

Which software did you flash it with? As I am still using feb06 software.

If its working ok with this dont change it but i believe the newest software is feb 07

Hi All,

I have just purchased an EV max. I have read various threads on this site which are very informative. Being a newbie and novice can sopmeone pls tell me how to get to the 'gmail' in order to dload the dabbaman/dnupman progs.

I have tried running powerscan on my EV max (6.887) and finds nothing. I do subscribe to a basic vir*** package so I know there are signals etc.

Do I need to flash the box in order for it to receive?

Many thnx for any help

try power scanning on 6952 m8
