I think the problem is that people are selling cable boxes off really cheap to others who have no idea they're about as much use as an ashtray on a hang glider. They connect them up, switch them on, get nothing but FTA and scrambled channels then come here expecting there to be a fix.

Then they get dismayed and upset when they find there is no fix, apart from CS or subscription. I know it's easy to be wise after the event, but before I bought my Eurovox a couple years ago I read everything I could find on the subject to make sure I was spending what was a lot of money, wisely.

Ignorance may be bliss, but it can also be very frustrating and very expensive.

Yep us in Lancashire should count our selfs lucky, the Leeds area went down last year right before Xmas iirc.

At least we got an extra 8/9 months longer.

Is there any other areas still going?
I remember reading about it on here last November, that it was the Leeds/ Yorkshire area to switch to N3 first in December/January, then i think it was meant to be the Midlands area to switch to N3 next around Febuary/March time.

And then the Manchester/Lancashire area to switch to N3 around March/April.

Then London and Scotland to switch to N3 last.
Is that still the plan, and they are just running a couple of months later than scheduled?

But all Sport channels [Sky Sports,Espn British Eurosport] Mtv Channels are scrambled.

I'm not far from you, so if your's is still working i can probably get mine working again.. if only for a little while longer.

I still have Gold +1 but not Gold, Discovery but not Discovery +1, Living it but not Living it +1... etc.

That's because they had a problem with the N3 stream and they needed to switch it off until they got the problem sorted. The fix they used has been implemented in all areas now.

You could hold your breath and cross your fingers but I doubt it will do any good unfortunately.
