Hi All,

I've just moved to France and had a quote for over 500 - yes 500! euros to install my satellite dish (which I already have!) and setup my Sky (which I also already have as I brought it to France with me). Unbelievable.

I really want to align the sky satellite dish myself as I have a pretty good idea (at least I think so) of how to wire it up. I've got cable and f-connectors sorted, just need to align the right satellite.

Does anyone know which satellite to point at (which direction)? I have just bought a satellite finder tool too but not sure where to aim the dish.

Thanks :)

Good afternoon. I am looking to upgrade my system to receive more sats. I initially only wanted 13e, 19.2e and 28.2e. Hoping to pick up some rugby union.
as always i've gotten greedy and want to recieve more but dont want to go bigger than about 80 cm.
So, question is. Wave frontier t55, multi focus such as the maximum e85 or motorise?
I really don't know what there is to watch on the sats that a motorised system would bring into play so would like to know what i could receive with with either the t55 or e85?
could i go as far as thor? Or maybe even 5w with 28.2e as well?
I live in the south east with a clear line of sight with a south east facing garden.
Any thoughts?
thanks all.

These are now going for at a maximum of a whole £10. To think that these were once £70-£100 and had a massive depreciation in a couple of years is quite something.

They are however quite useful for FTA cable transmission, considering they're more space efficient
