Hi all
Looking to go down DM route now after demise of N2 (RIP)
Have 1m motorised dish with an old TM1600 but unsure which way to go!
Ultimately looking to possibly C/S, and Dreambox is well supported in the forums.
What worries me though are issues such as :-
poor quality clones
motorised dish problems from box
Is 800Hd actually "HD" via HDMI
Will 8000 when released, actually have an HDMI outlet

Any recommendations on where to purchase any of the above and be guaranteed of a genuine box.

Having looked through threads, i seem to be more confused than ever in which box to buy!
Any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you

Hi all,

My eurovox hd is now dead in the water.

I was looking at replacing it with kryptview a780 or starview Hd combo, but have decided against it due to the possiblility of vermim being able to trace isp. I also know about vpn but have decided to jump into the world of satellite.

I have been offered a dreambox with moterised dish prof alligned and 1 yr sub for £480. It will then be £120 thereafter for C/S.

I don't know much about satelitte other than you link onto different foreign satellites.
I was wondering if it is just plug in and play or will i have to constantly flash box. I did this with eurovox but thought as paying for C/S this would mean i wouldn't need to do this?
Also I've been told as satelittes are foreign it is completely legal is this true? With the box needing to be connected to router will vermin have problem?
I keep seeing people downloading camms and keys and other stuff! Will I need to do this?
I know, proper newbie to this, my apologises!
Any info would be gratefully be appreciated!
