    actually thats not true
you need a disque switch one lnb on Astra 28 east for free sat
and one lnb on Astra 19 east eurosport is free on Astra 19 east
on 12226 horizontal 27500 with the humax freesat box you can
go in to the menus to open the disque switching capabilities and
receive even more free to air Chanel's from more than one satellite
    in fact several satellites
ive only mentioned humax because that the only one ive played with

    from a page by bigtone
    from another satellit forum
    hope you dont mind bigtone

Secret menu for multi sat viewing

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To access the hidden menu for diseqc settings and usals on Foxsat HD

    Press
    Menu
    Setup
    Freesat tune then press
    Red Button
    Green Button
    Yellow Button
    Blue Button
    Green Button
    Yellow Button
    Blue Button
Then the Antenna settings option should appear.

and then you can access the Antenna Settings part of the menu. to set up your diseqc.
I have used this some time ago and its great for Multi sat reception.

19E isn't Freesat though is it.

I think you have to subscribe to Sky or at least have their receiver and card to get precisely what you asked, pykey. But a non subscription cheap option is as ABA has said above, and the box must be a Humax Freesat model, or one of the multitude of FTA digital satellite receivers available. (Technomate, Icecrypt,Dreambox etc etc)

Just to make it clear, you will not get Sly Sports from a satellite box, unless you subscribe to it or use another method, which involves illegal means, to do it. Freesat is not free view.

Yes, I meant for the cheaper option of FTA channels, the Fortec star will never pick up Sky subscription channels no matter what.

    sory not made myself clear
freesat is on 28 east only
any othere satellite that gives free to air channels ie eurosport on 19 east
on 12226 horizontal 27500 is classed as none freesat the channels are in the clear
but not classed as freesat channels
and with the humax freesat box you can have both

If you are asking if you can have all FTA channels from Astra 2 then you can with a Humax, with a motorised dish and the correct set up you can have every free channels on any sat your dish can see.

If on the other hand you are looking for free sly sports channels then you are out of luck.

Hope that is clear enough for you.

    Regards Wez
