curious as i used to look at dave and got the odd glitch and when old supplier stopped sourced 2 new supplies and it freezes very badly, sat is aligned as signal and agc is in the 90%.
would a uk supplier differ that much over an irish one or its sky upto mischief.

If it was a supplier issue, wouldn't other Sky channels be affected too?

Not necessarily some channels need more signal for a lock than others depending on certain factors, if the transponder in question is 11739 V 29500 its FEC 8/9 QPSK and needs more signal than most for lock, having said that 90% should be sufficient, next time it does it go sky sports 1 HD and check the picture it should be the same signal level as its the same fec and 8/9 etc if ok your issue lies elsewhere if its the same the dish needs tweaking.

With the majority of encrypted channels now blocked on 28e, there are fewer cards in the pool used by servers. You will find that other channels could become glitchy too.
