Sandberg launches USB to USB Transfer Link in UK

Jan Harris

Sandberg, a Scandinavian developer, has launched a range of computer accessories in the UK.

The company’s USB to USB Transfer Link is designed to transfer files between two computers at the faster USB 2.0 speed.

It is compatible with the Windows Vista’s Windows Easy Transfer utility, which comes on CD with the device. The utility can be installed on computers running Windows XP and is priced at £17.99.

Sandberg has also introduced its FM Link, which connects an MP3 player to an FM radio, either in the car or the home. The basic version is priced at £12.99, while the FM Link (Display) model, which features a display showing up to 200 channels, costs £17.99.

The third accessory in the range is the USB All-In-1 Hard Disk Link, which is designed to connect any hard disk to USB. This is priced at £17.99.

A Panther Sound 2.1 amplified speaker set is now also now available, comprising a subwoofer and two satellite speakers.

The speaker set uses a standard headphone connector, so it can be used with MP3 players and TVs as well as computers. It retails for £17.99.

Finally, Sandberg has introduced the USB DigiTV, which allows users to watch digital TV on a computer anywhere a digital TV signal is available.

USB DigiTV comes with a remote control and software providing teletext, an electronic programme guide (EPG) and timeshifting. It is priced £34.99.

The accessories are available in the UK through Interactive Ideas and from www.amazon.co.uk and www.bot5.com.
