On a quest for world domination, Amazon has taken it’s next step, by becoming the majority shareholder in leading online DVD rental company, Lovefilm.

The deal will include a cash investment and partnership agreement.
“Our investment will allow Lovefilm to grow the business further and we are excited to be part of their future”

Until the re-branding is complete, Amazon will continue with its own DVD rental service.
