With the expansion of HD on Sky, it is of no surprise that they will be adding as many channels as quickly as they can to ensure that the choice of HD channels will mirror the choice available on the normal digital service.

The extra channels will be FX HD, Sky Sports 3 HD and Sky Movies Premier HD, but that is not all there is also the inclusion of ITV HD too which will bring the total amount HD channels to eighteen.

To celebrate this Sky have obtained re-mastered versions of the classic films Zulu and the Italian Job in partnership with Paramount Pictures and to celebrate the star of the films Michael Caines seventy fifth birthday on the 14th March.

Out of all of the channels it the inclusion of the FX HD that has been eagerly awaited, especially after getting their Transmission licence a year ago.
