Between them the USA, Canada and Europe, account for of 80% of worldwide revenues from DTH Satellite. These markets, and now mature and reaching saturation point, so now the focus is moving over to new developing markets in Eastern Europe and the Asian Pacific region.

By next year, it is predicted that the worldwide market for DTH will exceed $50 billion. The main areas of growth of the Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Pay-TV services using DTH account for 60 operating platforms around the world. Subscriber numbers are increasing rapidly, but revenue is climbing even faster than subscribers are.
Estimates state that within two years there will be over 130 million DTH satellite TV subscribers across the world.

The market for DTH is believed to grow at just less than 10% per year. Nearly 50% of all subscribers are from the European market, North America is quickly catching up as focus for new subscriber’s moves away from Europe.
