BBC goes for more mobile content<br />

The BBC are moving into the busy phase where much of the TV programming will be dominated by the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, they are looking to provide even more content for mobile browsing. This follows a recent up update of the BBC website which has been optimised for ease of use on mobile devices.

In actual fact although the new mobile site has been revamped it has the same look and feel as before. It has simply been designed to make the experience better for users who are more aware when it comes to using mobile devices to surf the internet.

As mobile browsing becomes easier and more practical for many more users, many websites including the BBC’s have had to cater for the desires of the user. Sport is one channel that many people would really use and the BBC has seen this, so we can expect to get coverage of Wimbledon, Euro 2008 and the Olympics. There will be a four week long advertising campaign starting with football coverage available on mobile.
