Nokia has revealed a few details about its ‘Tube’ handset, a touch-screen phone that will compete with Apple’s iPhone.
At the Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City, California, Tom Libretto of Nokia, revealed that the phone will support Java and allow photos to be uploaded to the internet. The iPhone does not have Jave support.
Tube, the code-name for the new handset, is also expected to support the DVB-H mobile TV standard for Europe and mobile video.
No details are yet available on pricing, but the phone should be available in the second half of this year.
