PC World launches “Get Connected”

Another free laptop offer hits the High Streets; this time it is PC World who are trying to tempt new customers to sign up for broadband services.

The incentive being offered to all new customers is a new laptop as well as other offers too.

This deal promises to be one of the better ones for choice, as unlike other offers this one gives the customer plenty of choice, instead of the deals that offer a low spec laptop.

But even then, if the choice of computers does not suit the requirements of the customer, the offer allows £450 off of any laptop within the entire PC World range.

The idea behind the Get Connected scheme is to promote not just mobile broadband but home broadband too, such as the deal with Virgin Media, with which a new customer can get six months free on the up to 2 Mb package, and thereafter it is just £9 per month.

It is expected that there will be more and more of these deals coming along, each one different in its own way, giving the customer plenty of choice unless they have just recently signed up on a 24 month contract with another provider.
