Testing starts on P2P Next

David Allen -

There is a new kid on the block when it comes to peer to peer content delivery, the group has been given the name P2P Next and in order to get off to a promising start they are looking for some help in the field by enlisting volunteers to test the system for them.

The P2P Next group have been working on software that should be capable of streaming P2P content.

Volunteers will need to use the SwarmPlayer BitTorrent client, once this has been installed they will be able to download a short five minute clip provided by the BBC or a webcam feed from Amsterdam!

The ultimate goal is to create a system that is capable of offering TV in a fast and effective way, hence the need of testers.
