Freesat offers more channels

by David Allen

It was only last week when the satellite version of Freeview, known as Freesat announced that they would be adding the regional variations of the BBC and ITV to the network.

Now they are announcing even more additions in their attempts to try to encourage viewers who are thinking of the digital switchover to choose their package over Freeview and the subscription based packages that are available.

As from tomorrow, there will be an additional eighteen channels for Freesat viewers to choose from, these are probably going to include Zone Horror, Zone Reality, Netplay TV and TWC Fight.

While from the beginning of August, they will be adding a reasonable choice of radio channels.

As with all channels on the Freesat network these channels will be free to view, and as the network rolls out through the country, they will need to keep adding new and exciting content or risk the loss of subscribers to other providers who will be only too willing to sign them up.
