Asus attack the PC sector

by David Allen

Most people have heard of the Asus Eee, the small laptop that despite being small on the outside is definitely big on the inside!

Following the success of their small laptop, Asus are moving their technical know how into the PC sector with the Asus Eee Box, where they intend to attack this market in the same way that they took the laptop market by surprise.

However, there is one thing that any competitor should think about, Asus are planning twenty-three different models these will include the light, extreme and the ultimate.

Unfortunately, the Asus marketing division left it there, so anyone whose interest has been stirred by this announcement will now have to wait for the official releases. Sometimes companies fail to do themselves any favours at all.

One thing is for sure, desktops are going to get smaller, whether they are better is going to be matter of opinion, but at £199 who is going to complain?
