O2 rules at the broadband awards

Taking the top place in the categories for Fastest Broadband and Customer Satisfaction has put the internet service provider O2 on top of all the other ISPs in the UK.

There are ten different categories with 3 winning the mobile broadband prize, while the others went to BT for wireless broadband, PlusNet for best small ISP, AOL has got the best short-term contract, Talk Talk are the top for value, Virgin Media offers the best broadband bundle, Be is best for gaming and Vodafone is the top choice for students.

In order to gauge for the awards, there was a speed test carried out on 310,000 lines and it was O2 who came out on top with an average connection speed of 6.128 Mbps.

O2’s customers also gave their ISP 3.84 out 5 for customer satisfaction.
