Some Brits suffer from discomgoogolation

September 3, 2008

The fact that there is a reference to Google has nothing to do with the world famous search engine, but discomgoogolation is something that a lot of internet using Brits are currently suffering from, according to psychologist Dr David Lewis who created the word.

The doctor studied the answers of over two thousand people and found that forty four per cent actually feel confused and frustrated when for one reason or another they are unable to get access to the internet.

Dr Lewis found that when internet obsessed Brits are unable to surf the net through being on holiday or because their internet service provider is not providing the service that the users are paying for, they begin to quickly develop withdrawal symptoms.
