HBO now on iTunes

by David Allen

TV fans of the Wire, Rome, Sopranos and Sex in the City will now for the first time be able to download their favourite episodes from Apple’s iTunes.

Each episode of the huge collection of shows will be priced at £1.89 and to make the whole deal even better for UK fans, there is the opportunity to download episodes of The Wire and Entourage the morning following their UK TV premieres.

By making this announcement, Apple believes that it could encourage people to look at the new series of iPod devices, which were launched just last week.

With the festive season not that far away, Apple could be looking at a very interesting run up to Christmas as long as they can keep the shelves stocked up.
