Wireless broadband confuses users

September 30, 2008

It would appear that broadband users from the UK are confused by wireless technology.

Some broadband users even think that wireless broadband is something completely different to fixed line broadband, according the results of a recent study.

There are some amazing results which actually just goes to show how poorly informed broadband users are in the UK.

Forty four per cent of non-wireless broadband users said that the reason they did not have wireless was because of the technological issues.

However what is more surprising is the twenty-five per cent who are disappointed that their broadband provider did not offer wireless broadband.

A further twenty seven per cent did not use wireless broadband because of fears of losing their personal data.
