T Mobile runs out of laptops

by David Allen

It seems that either T Mobile have been selling their mobile broadband like there is no tomorrow, or that they underestimated the demand and did not order enough Acer Travel 5320 laptop computers for the promotion that the provider is currently offering.

The problem for T Mobile now is that the laptop maker Acer is not willing to provide anymore of these laptops at the same price as the previous deal.

This puts pressure on T Mobile to either find a new source of Laptops very quickly or pay the extra required by Acer.

The mobile broadband deal started only last month - for £30 per month on a twenty four month contract the new customer would get the laptop, mobile broadband dongle and unlimited text messages.

It will be interesting to see how they go about sorting out this laptop problem and what effect it will have on the mobile broadband deals.
