New Zealand’s Broadband better than UK’s

October 28, 2008

It seems that the former colony of New Zealand has been quietly getting on with improving their telecom infrastructure, while here in the UK the consumer plays the waiting game for better broadband connections.

The days of New Zealand and to some extent Australia being well behind the UK when it comes to day to day living are long gone.

That part of the world has been booming with technology and now it shows as the UK drops down in the broadband quality index produced by Epitiro Technology.

According to the methods undertaken by the consultancy firm, the UK dropped by ten per cent, while on the other side of the world New Zealand’s broadband connection quality has risen by twenty per cent, overtaking the UK for the first time.
