O2 to change the face of mobile broadband

November 3, 2008

Mobile broadband has taken off so fast, that there has been little time for the providers to sit back and take on board some of the feedback that they have been receiving from their customers, however O2 have been listening and the results are not too good.

According to research carried out by One Poll, there are ten per cent of mobile broadband users who actually believe that they have been mis-sold the service.

While twenty per cent cannot use the service where they want, thirty three per cent thought the cost were higher than expected and thirteen per cent were disappointed to find that there was no returns policy.

O2 have taken some of this on board and brought in some new pricing and services in order to try to answer some of this feedback from mobile broadband customers.
