London-based internet telephony provider, Teleappliant, has had two of its products shortlisted for the first ever ITSPA VoIP Awards.
Teleappliant is up against fierce competition in the Internet Telephony Services Providers’ Association awards, with rivals that include Tesco in both consumer and business categories.
Teleappliant’s VoIPtalk has been nominated for the ‘Best Consumer VoIP’ award, whilst VoIPOffice Hosted Edition Package is a contender for ‘Best Unified Business Solution’.
“To be shortlisted for both these awards is fantastic,” said Tan Aksoy, CEO of Teleappliant.
VoIPtalk is a free voice compression technology that enables subscribers to make high quality computer-to-computer voice calls even under the most adverse bandwidth conditions.
Other features include voicemail-to-email, time of day forwarding, automatic top-up, call divert, and inbound number routing.
VoIPOffice Hosted Edition Package has a multitude of advanced features, including call distribution, virtual receptionist, unified messaging, audio conferencing, call recording and monitoring, advanced call statistics, and CRM integration capability with Sugar CRM and Microsoft CRM.
Competition winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 11th December.
ITSPA chairman Eli Katz said: “The purpose of the ITSPA awards 2008 is to foster excellence and to recognise and reward achievement.
“We look forward to hosting the event and honouring companies who have made a significant contribution to our rapidly developing and innovative UK IP communications industry.”
