LG, the electronics giant from Korea, has announced an agreement with the UK’s only free satellite provider, Freesat.
This deal will see LG televisions in stores with an integrated Freesat system.
The first of these products are due to appear on the shelves during 2009 and will form a large part of the company’s new range of TVs that are due to be launched.
The company has also announced that this deal with Freesat will also produce other products with the Freesat technology on board, which sounds interesting.
LG is not the only manufacturer which has integrated Freesat and in fact the satellite provider has confirmed that it is also in talks with other manufacturers who are keen to get involved with the free satellite TV service.
