A planning issue concerning the application for a new digital TV aerial could see thousands of homes in the Skelmersdale area being without a TV signal.
The planning department at West Lancashire Council decided to delay their decision in order to make a site visit.
Once this has taken place then a decision could be made in a matter of days.
However the local MP, Rosie Cooper, fears that because there have been objections to the aerial’s proposed location, this could drag on for some time.
With the digital switchover due to take place during November, this leaves little time to allow for any other problems that could arise during the erection of the aerial.
