The sports satellite broadcaster Setanta is apparently up to date with payments to the Scottish Premier League for its coverage of the live football matches from that particular league.
It is a different story with the Football Association where Setanta is believed to be seeking a renegotiation of the terms of its contract to cover England international friendlies and the FA Cup knock out matches.
The deal with the SPL appears to be stronger than that with the FA.
The SPL has even confirmed that the broadcaster has kept up with its payments, despite its view that the contracts they have are confidential.
Setanta is believed to have held back a £10 million payment to the FA, but this does not mean that it is in breach of contract just yet.
