Once again many users of the Google email service, Gmail, have lost access to their email accounts.
This is the third time we know of when the Gmail service has been affected in this manner.
There was a major outage last month when many more customers’ email access was affected.
The latest problem does not appear to be as massive as the other outages and at the moment it would seem not to be as serious as the other events.
It is however serious to the users who cannot access their messages properly.
Obviously, the Google technical team will be working as hard as possible to get Gmail back to full working order.
Apparently, the Gmail email service only suffered an average of ten to fifteen minutes of disruption per month during 2008.
