Sci-Fi Channel to show new “Knight Rider”

by David Allen

In these days of cutbacks, broadcasters have to keep up investments into new and exciting programmes, otherwise viewers are likely to find something else worth watching and end up being hooked.

To this end the Sci Fi Channel has secured the UK rights to a cool new TV series from the US that Sci Fi, or SyFy as it is soon to be known, hopes will keep its viewers happy.

The show is going to be well known by people of a certain age.

The long awaited sequel to the Knight Rider, called ingeniously “Knight Rider”, continues the story of the original series, but this time it is Michael Knight’s son who gets to drive around in the black talking car.

In fact, sadly for fans of the “Hoff”, David Hasselhoff doesn’t actually feature in the show, except in a guest appearance.
