CI-Net goes for growth

by David Allen

The Oxford based internet business, CI-Net, has recently acquired the internet service provider Interdart, to help with its plans to enter into the competitive SME sector.

Currently CI-Net is mainly a managed wide area networking (Wi-Fi) reseller, while Interdart happens to be a rival provider supplying similar services.

This means that CI-Net will now have a customer base of around two and half thousand active users.

Apparently not fearful of the current financial crisis that has gripped the country, CI-Net believes that now is a good time to expand and hopes to ensure that when the economy returns to more favourable conditions, it will be well placed to serve the market.

It is believed that CI-Net is talking to other providers of similar services with a view to continuing this expansion drive.
