UK firm Wick Hill has taken on distribution for a leading networking solutions provider, with a focus on NETGEAR’s Prosecure security product.
As security continues to lead the required attributes for any network installation, Wick Hill believes the focus on this aspect will pay off.
The NETGEAR offering claims to offer small to medium enterprise customers (SMEs), security against the full web and email threat spectrum, rather the normally protected subsets that have previously been deemed “affordable” at the SME level.
NETGEAR’s Stream Scanning architecture has been receiving favourable reviews and has patents pending.
Wick Hill will act as distributor for other NETGEAR offerings in the security and storage areas, but believes that the channel dealing directly with SME holds the greatest potential.
If NETGEAR can deliver affordable security for SMEs, so can others.
Watch this sector for the competition to begin heating up.
