Tiscali customers offered £50 from TalkTalk

by David Allen

The vultures are circling around the internet service provider Tiscali and it is not even dead yet!

In order to get in first, the Carphone Warehouse’s broadband division, TalkTalk, is offering new customers who switch from Tiscali £50 just for signing up.

This deal applies to the Essentials Phone and Broadband package.

The £50 credit actually relates to three months free broadband and phone services, plus the standard connection fee.

New customers to TalkTalk can expect to get up-to-8 Mbps broadband, 40 Gb usage allowance and an eighteen month contract.

It was not that long ago that TalkTalk was in the ball park with Tiscali on takeover talks, but now it seems that is has decided to entice customers away instead, while at the same time saving the company a couple of hundred million pounds.
