Living snaps up Wurzer

by David Allen

The satellite channel Living has snapped up the head of development at Target TV as the new commissioning editor for the channel.

Sophie Wurzer replaces Sophie Morgan who left Living to take up a post at rival Reef Television. She has many year experience in the industry working on both satellite and terrestrial TV programming.

During her three years at Target TV she worked on shows that made it onto both satellite and terrestrial TV, including Glamour’s Best Dressed List for Five, Hardest Men for Sky 1, and Extreme Skinny Celebrity Mums 1 and 2 for Living.

Living is owned by Virgin Media, which is shareholder in UKTV together with BBC Worldwide.

Wurzer will begin at Living on the 29th April, and will be reporting Mark Sammon, head of commissioning at Virgin Media Television.
