Sky One’s Fringe renewed

by David Allen

It is being reported that Fox has already ordered a second series of the hit show ‘Fringe’.

This semi sci-fi thriller has been given the go ahead for a second season despite the first season still having a few episodes to run.

The current series is being boosted by the introduction of a character played by Leonard Nimoy of ‘Star Trek’ fame, who also happens to be appearing in the new ‘Star Trek’ film, which is released in the UK tomorrow and has been directed by JJ Abrams, who co-created and produces ‘Fringe’.

Fox has reportedly ordered a further twenty two episodes for the second season.

The series gathered momentum over this first season and has caused the audience to buzz with excitement.
