SeaChange joins only three companies worldwide - Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell, Huawei Technologies, and ZTE Corp - who have also achieved the certification.
The video-on-demand, IPTV, and digital advertising software provider said it achieved the recognition in less than two years, and during a period of global expansion across several countries.
The TL 9000 standard defines requirements for the design, development, production, deliver, installation, and maintenance of telecoms products and services.
SeaChange said the certification will benefit its entire range of hardware and software products for video storage and streaming, as well as its set top box applications and middleware.
“I congratulate the entire SeaChange organization for its dedication in achieving TL 9000 certification,” said SeaChange CEO Bill Styslinger.
To ensure that it continues to maintain the TL 9000 standard, SeaChange has appointed a TL 9000 manager to supervise an internal audit programme.
