Chrome gets app alerts

by David Allen

Google is looking to expand the number of users signing up for the browser Chrome, by increasing the options available to users and making it more user-friendly by including Google Reader and Gmail notifications.

So far, there are three extensions that Chrome users can choose, and all they have to do is download the Google Chrome Chanel Chooser to see what is available.

This Channel Chooser can be switched and then it will be updated automatically every week.

It is a good idea to have these in place on new applications as developers are working on new ideas all of the time and it makes it easier for the user to get involved with new developments for these applications.
