Satellite and cable spend reaches £5 Billion

May 21, 2009

It is estimated that almost ninety per cent of the households in the UK are already watching digital TV; this could be through either satellite or cable services on their main television.

But still satellite is coming out on top in satisfaction and quality of service.

More interesting is the number of households that are spending on pay to view television services - running at £5 billion, which is a full £1 billion or twenty three per cent up on the previous year.

Yet it seems that not all customers are entirely satisfied with the services provided by the satellite and cable companies, with customer services being at the top of the list of customer concerns, nearly half of the UK subscribers have concerns over this issue.
