Setanta running out of time?

The satellite sports broadcaster Setanta may have been able to show the live England world cup qualifying game against Kazakhstan, but that alone may not be enough to save the broadcaster.

It seems that the vultures are circling around the still very much alive broadcaster.

There are rumours that Deloitte has already been lined up to go in to take the firm into administration.

Industry experts are saying that there may only be a few days left for backers and management to come up with a viable plan.

The worries started with the satellite broadcaster missing a £3 million payment to the Scottish Premier League.

This was for the last instalment of games already shown, and for it to miss such a small payment could be taken as a warning of the financial difficulties that Setanta is experiencing.
