BSkyB brings in Celia Taylor

by David Allen

Celia Taylor disappeared from Virgin Media TV where she worked as Director of Programmes.

Since then little has been seen or heard from her, until satellite channels Sky 1, 2 and three announced that she would be starting as the new commissioning editor of factual and features for the channels.

Her primary task will be to find new and exciting features to be shown on weekday evenings, a job previous held by Andrew O’Connell who left Sky to join Five last month.

There are a number of programmes across all channels that she has been responsible for, including The Real Holiday Show, Deals On Wheels, Driven, Delia, Neighbours At War, Would Like To Meet, Spendaholics, 18 With A Bullet, Country Strife, Who Rules The Roost and The Trouble With Black Men.

Sky hope that this talent will be repeated on its channels.
